Position Summary:

Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands and AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank are seeking Food & Beverage Service Experts to join our established and enthusiastic Food & Beverage team

The Food and Beverage Service Expert provide exceptional service across a range of food and beverage operations including in-room dining, lounge, events and bar.

Your main duties as Food & Beverage Service Experts includes:

  • Assist with the restaurant service period, tending to the guests and exceeding their expectations

  • Engage and inspire guests throughout the complete food and beverage experience

  • Maintain outlet cleanliness and ensure all checklists are completed daily with a focus on attention to detail

  • Understand guest requirements and deliver service excellence with each customer experience

  • Collaborate with your Food and Beverage team in general operational tasks

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An up-to-date RSA

  • Relevant experience in a similar role  i.e. bartender, waiter, event staff

  • Working rights in Australia

  • Enthusiastic to escalate your career

  • Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment

  • Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
