Detailer - BYD

As we ramp up operations for BYD Holland Park, we are looking for additional Detailer to join the team working exclusively on BYD at Zupps Mount Gravatt. As Australia's fastest growing EV brand, BYD is growing exponentially with new models hitting the traffic.

As part of our team at Zupps Mount Gravatt you will join an engaged group of experienced Technicians, Fitters and Detailers supported by your manager and our Operations team. About this role:

• Pre Delivery Service on BYD vehicles
• Fit and install a range of BYD vehicle accessories
• Meet the required manufacturing specifications for installation
• Work to WHS standards with a regard to the safety of yourself, the team and our customers
• Assisting Technicians with preparing new vehicles, vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per the work order
• Moving vehicles as required
• Planning each assigned job for maximum efficiency
• Detailing vehicles in preparation for delivery

What you will need to have to succeed in this position

• Valid manual driver's licence
• Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency
• Good communication skills and show initiative
• Demonstrate a positive attitude
• Previous experience in the fitment of automotive accessories highly regarded but not essential
• The ability to perform tasks unsupervised, efficiently and in a timely manner
• Suitable for someone working towards an automotive qualification (Certificate III/ IV)
• A passion for the Automotive industry
