Adapt Psychological Services in Morisset is seeking an experienced and motivated Allied Health/Medical Receptionist to provide a welcoming and efficient service to our clients, referrers and external stakeholders, and administration support to our two Psychologists.

Flexible hours with minimum of 25 hours per week.

About the Role

· Welcome clients into the clinic warmly and professionally, and be able to build rapport

· Maintain client confidentiality at all times

· Schedule and manage appointments

· Update and maintain client records and software systems

· Answer phone and email enquiries in a prompt, professional and friendly manner

· Process payments, Medicare Rebates, and invoices

· Experience with Cliniko and Medipass software is an advantage but not essential

· Administration support including efficient data entry, scanning, and filing

· Light cleaning and general daily duties to maintain a clean and tidy Practice environment

· Ability to multitask while working independently and unsupervised

· Complete end of day reconciliations

· Monitor and follow up outstanding accounts

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria

· Minimum 2 years of Allied Health or Medical reception experience

· Understanding of client confidentiality and handling of files

· Proficient computer skills including Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and knowledge of cyber security practices

· An understanding of the Medicare Benefits Scheme

· Experience with Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, and Third Party Insurance processing

· Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and ability to maintain detailed client records

· Ability to process Medicare, NDIS, and Workcover reports in a timely manner with a high level of attention to detail

· Exceptional verbal and written communication and customer service skills

· Excellent organisation and time management skills
