THE OPPORTUNITY
Training Coordinator
Reporting to Human Resources Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced Training Coordinator for our modern export Abattoir Training Department.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who is energetic, innovative, smart and reliable.
You should possess the ability to lead a team and produce quality training outcomes in a timely manner.
Whilst leading and additionally being surrounded by a supportive team, you will also be able to work effectively autonomously.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Coordinate full training systems for approximately 950 staff
- Lead a small team of dedicated training staff
- Participate in audit processes in relation to training matters
- Ability to deliver training programs internally and facilitate staff inductions
- Engage with supervisors and senior management regarding employee training matters
- Coordinate external training requirements
- Oversee management for electronic training records and training data base
- Management of government training programs
Ideally, candidates with the following attributes are encouraged to apply:
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Have comprehensive knowledge of workplace legislations.
- Have advanced computer skills in both Word and XL
- Have good communication and phone skills
- Have good organisational skills
- Ideally have some previous experience in the abattoir industry
- Have knowledge of Work Instructions & Safe Work Procedures
- Show a high level of confidentiality
- Have own reliable transport
