As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of our products while also supporting warehouse operations. This position requires a combination of driving, manual labour/heavy lifting and installation of medical equipment (i.e. hospital beds, hoists, etc.) and logistical skills to maintain the flow of inventory and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Duties:
  • Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers and healthcare facilities.
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company standards.
  • Load, unload and install medical equipment, verifying orders against delivery paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
  • Warehouse Support:
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory in the warehouse.
  • Perform regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Prepare orders for delivery, including packing and labeling items.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and complies with safety regulations.
  • Customer Service:
  • Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Set up products for end-users and provide a basic overview of the product (training will be provided).
  • Represent Cobalt Health professionally at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid Australian driver's licence (minimum Class C) with a clean driving record.
  • Holds a current Working with Children Check.
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Forklift Licence (preferred).
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems is a bonus.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours.
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg and perform manual handling tasks safely
