The Practice
We are a specialist ophthalmology clinic with locations in Glenelg South, Golden Grove, and Campbelltown.
Our close-knit team of 13 is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and clear communication. The practice is led by two ophthalmologists covering a range of subspecialty fields.
The Position
This role is well suited to either:
- An experienced ophthalmic technician, or
- Someone new to the field with a strong interest in developing a career in ophthalmology.
You will work closely with both ophthalmologists and be an integral part of the support team, assisting with diagnostic work-ups and providing reception support. The position requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
The role involves working across all clinic locations; a travel allowance is provided for secondary sites.
A current driver's licence and reliable transport are essential for travel between clinic locations.
This is a casual position, with availability required Monday to Friday. On average, you can expect approximately 7 days per fortnight.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician or assistant
- Familiarity with medical software (our practice uses Gentu)
- Background in optometry or medical reception
