Busy Bees at Beenleigh is currently hiring Casual Educators to join our warm and dedicated team.

Located in the heart of Logan, just south of Brisbane, our centre offers beautifully designed open-plan rooms and a spacious, natural outdoor environment. Our Educators are committed to inspiring a lifelong love of learning through play, discovery and meaningful connections.

As a Casual Educator, you'll provide flexible support across all age groups. It's a great way to gain experience, be part of a friendly team, and grow your career in early childhood education.

What You'll Need:

  • Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
  • Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR.
  • Confidence and flexibility to work across multiple rooms and age groups

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.
  • Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
  • Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.
  • Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.
  • Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.
  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.
  • Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.
