Our services encompass:
- Upholstery and reupholstery across sofas, lounges, dining chairs, antiques, and outdoor furnishings
- Furniture restoration, refinishing, and French polishing
- Use of premium materials like Italian leather, high-grade fabric, foam, and webbing

Position: Skilled Upholsterer / Reupholstery Expert
What You'll Do
- Skillfully reupholster and restore residential furniture, including mid-century and antique pieces
- Apply a full range of upholstery techniques—from stripping and rewebbing to foam replacing and fine stitching
- Work with high-end materials including fine fabrics, Italian leather, and traditional springs and webbing
- Execute finishing techniques like French polishing and perfecting timber frames
- Collaborate with our talented team to uphold Covesmore's high standards
Who We're Looking For
An ideal candidate brings:
- Demonstrated experience in residential reupholstery
- Mastery of essential upholstery techniques (stripping, rewebbing, foam insertion, stitching, finishing)
- A flair or portfolio with mid-century styles—retro, clean lines, and legacy brands
- Bonus: Former Parker Furniture employees or deep familiarity with its style are highly valued
You'll be hands-on, detail-oriented, and proud of your work. Whether you're a seasoned full-time tradesperson or a contractor operating under your ABN, we welcome your craft.
