Trainee Accountant

About the role

Trainee Accountant position available with a reputable accounting firm, THE TAX AVENUE based in Bella Vista, NSW 2153. This is a full-time opportunity for an aspiring accounting professional to gain hands-on experience and work towards professional qualifications.

What you'll be doing

· Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents

· Performing data entry, reconciliations and general bookkeeping duties

· Providing administrative support to the accounting team

· Gaining experience in a range of accounting functions and procedures

· Participating in relevant training and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

· Completion of or working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

· Strong numeracy and attention to detail

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications

· A keen interest in developing a career in accounting
