As an international non-profit, we provide expert safety guidance to the aviation industry worldwide. Our unique role allows us to address safety concerns globally through data, education, and advocacy, bridging differences for safety's sake. In Melbourne, our team manages the Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) Program, supporting various aviation sectors including resources, humanitarian, oil & gas, insurance, and energy. With over 1500 audits conducted in 45 countries, we continue to enhance safety and efficiency across the industry.
About the Opportunity:
As our new Audit Services Coordinator, you'll provide essential administrative, data, and logistical support for the globally recognised BARS Program audit functions.
This entry-level role offers the perfect opportunity to build a career in aviation safety while supporting critical audit operations that ensure safety standards worldwide.
You'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of aviation safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate audit registries and operator databases
- Support audit scheduling, documentation, and logistics coordination
- Prepare routine reports and data extracts for management review
- Provide first-line support for enquiries from operators and audit companies
- Process and file audit documentation in line with program requirements
- Assist with presentations and standardised reporting for audit review meetings
About You:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in administration, compliance, or data management
- You are an organised and detail-oriented professional looking to start or develop your career in aviation safety
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Professional communication skills and customer service mindset
- Proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
- Prior exposure to aviation, auditing, or regulated environments desirable but not essential
