About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About the role

The Store Person reports to the Food Service Stores Supervisor. The primary responsibilities of this role include ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of both stocked and non-stocked items to the Barwon Health Food Service Stores department at UHG. The position also involves properly storing stocked items in designated locations, as well as distributing them to their required delivery points. Additionally, the Store Person is responsible for picking and delivering internally requisitioned orders and managing Imprest stock movements efficiently. Providing excellent customer service to the organization is a key component of the role. The Store Person will collaborate with ward clerks, ANUMs/NUMs, and other Barwon Health staff to determine appropriate Imprest items and PAR levels for each area, and will be accountable for checking and restocking these areas as needed..
