WHAT WE OFFER

• Casual Role:
  DIDO outage, located at
  Tarong Power Station
  in
  Tarong, QLD
• Project Dates:
  Start date from
  early September,
  running approximately until
  November.
• Roster:
  Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts.
• Competitive Rate:
  EBA rates $60.12 p/h (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Site Allowance.
• Other Benefits:
  Join a supportive team delivering Downers QLD outages. LAFHA or Accommodation is provided to distant workers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Downer's

business is seeking casual
Advanced Riggers
to provide outage services at Tarong Power Station in Tarong, QLD. Starting in
early September 2025
, Downer will be working on a Hitachi steam turbine supporting with four main areas of scope - Valves, Turbine, Generator and Auxiliaries. As an Advanced Rigger, you will be applying your expertise in rigging works, ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards.

• Site Proficient:
  Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
• Team Oriented:
  Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
• Workplace Safety:
  Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
• Qualifications:

Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years), Construction white card, HRWL
