The Successful Applicant

You will need to have a good mechanical aptitude or some prior experience in a mechanical field or hold another similar trade eg automotive mechanic.   A genuine interest in how things work along with a mature attitude is the sign of a good fitter.

You may:

• be looking for a career change;
• have a different engineering or mechanical trade and looking to Upskill
• be an experienced automotive mechanic who's reached a ceiling and looking to Upskill to Hydraulic Fitter

You will need to be physically fit, have a strong work ethic and be dedicated to learning.  This trade requires focus and attention to detail as well as the following:

• Reliable and punctual
• Great initiative & solutions driven
• Logical and methodical
• Be able to follow instructions
• Customer service mindset
• Good hand eye co-ordination
• Pride in your work and doing things right
• Must have drivers licence and own vehicle

• On the job training + RTO time
• Full-time permanent role |Mon – Fri – 8.00am to 4.06pm + overtime as per business requirements. Occasional ½ day Saturday
