About the role

We are seeking Hydraulic Technician to join our Thiess Western Region Maintenance hub located in Hazelmere, working Monday to Friday.  The Maintenance Hub is designed to support repairs and refurbish a variety of Mining Equipment and Components within Thiess and subsidiary internal Asset refurbishment requirements as well as external key Tier 1 mining customers.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
  • Experience in hydraulic components, maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to read micrometers and various types of measuring equipment
  • Machining backgrounds welcomed
  • Maintaining the workshop area to a high standard of housekeeping & organisation
  • Working within a dedicated team to deliver a high level of workmanship
  • Must be well organised, methodical and have an eye for detail 
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety, safe work practices & risk awareness
