Personal Care Workers

Job description:

Are you looking for a job in which you can help the elderly in their twilight years and or adults with disabilities live comfortably in their own homes in Cairns OR Tully area. We are currently looking for caring, compassionate, dependable and skilled individuals to provide in home care who LIVE in the CAIRNS or TULLY area.

Daily activities typically include:

• Personal Cares- Helping with showering and incontinence
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation
• Shopping assistance
• Sleep over shifts available
• and much more

Qualifications: These are a must

• A Certificate III in Individual Support (aged care, home & community care, disability)
• National Police Certificate or willing to apply for a clearance
• Required clearances must be obtained before applying to the position
• All required clearances must be obtained before applying to this position
• NDIS Screening Card (Yellow)
• Working with Vulnerable Person's Card (Bluecard)
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Drivers Licence
• A valid driver's licence of any type is required
• Comprehensive Car Insurance
• Live in Cairns or Tully
