Dental Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in the dental industry. As a Part-Time Trainee Dental Assistant, you'll be supported with on-the-job training while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

About the Role:
You'll work in a close-knit team providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. Duties include:

• Chairside assisting during dental procedures

• Sterilisation of instruments and maintaining infection control protocols

• Surgery setup and preparation for treatments

• Maintaining and cleaning dental equipment and tools

• Front desk duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing payments (EFTPOS/HICAPS)

  About You:

  We're looking for someone who is:

• Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player

• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once

• Calm under pressure and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Professional in both presentation and communication

• Friendly, empathetic, and genuinely patient-focused

• Comfortable using basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, etc.)

• Willing to complete Certificate III in Dental Assisting (provided as part of traineeship)

Part-time –days and hours to be discussed with the successful candidate
