The Role – What You'll Be Doing

As an Insurance Repair Estimator / Supervisor, you'll:

  • Conduct site inspections to assess damage and quantify repair requirements
  • Prepare detailed scopes of work and cost estimates for insurance repair jobs
  • Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and subcontractors/trades to coordinate the repair process
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise on-site works, ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Monitor and manage job progress, including variations, timelines, and budget
  • Uphold WHS standards and ensure all site safety requirements are met
  • Act as a client-facing representative — communicate effectively with homeowners and stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged
  • Use our estimating and project-management software to track and report on KPIs

What We're Looking For – Key Requirements

  • Trade qualification or experience
  • Proven experience in estimating and supervising repair works (insurance repair experience is highly desirable)
  • Valid White Card (or equivalent construction safety certification)
  • Experience interpreting scopes of works and working with building codes and regulations
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time‑management skills
  • Proficiency in technology, including mobile devices, estimating software, and project management tools
  • Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering quality
  • (Preferable) A Site Supervisor licence, depending on the regional regulatory requirements
