Eden and OnShift Education is an Australian-based training and education company developing ISO-compliant safety management systems and online learning systems for the construction and demolition industry. We are expanding our Australian development team to build innovative, scalable technology that enhances workplace safety and training outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level full stack developer seeking to grow within a professional, structured environment under the mentorship of experienced Australian software engineers and management.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Developer, you will collaborate with our development and management teams to design, build, and integrate features for our education and safety management platform. You'll gain exposure to both frontend and backend technologies, learning how to deliver secure, high-quality software aligned with ISO frameworks such as ISO 45001 and ISO 27001.

This is a full-time role based in Sydney, with opportunities for training, mentoring, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy web applications as part of project sprints.
• Collaborate with Australian developers and management on architecture, design, and integration tasks.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following company coding standards.
• Support ISO compliance integration (ISO 45001, ISO in product design.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, weekly reviews, and team development sessions.
• Contribute to UI/UX discussions and quality assurance testing.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, , and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Basic knowledge of backend frameworks, with experience using Firebase and Supabase Desirable.
• Experience with databases with experience using XXXX desirable.
• Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab, agile workflows, and teamwork tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A positive attitude toward learning and collaboration with the desire to learn independently and raise concerns openly within team meetings.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or containerization.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in safety management, e-learning platforms, or SaaS is desirable.
• Awareness of UI/UX best practices.
• Previous internship or project-based team experience.

Employment Details

• Salary: Competitive and based on experience
• Hours: 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Reports to: Senior Developer / Project Lead
