Junior/ Senior Medical Receptionist Position Vacant

We are seeking for an enthusiastic, flexible and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our growing and friendly practice in Lilydale and Chirnside Park to work 4 days a week including 4pm-10pm and some weekends.

The position requires the following;

-Previous General Practice experience is higly desirable

-Pracsoft/Medical Director Software

-Familiar with MBS Item numbers.

An overview of the position;

-Welcoming patients in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquires,

-Manage the smooth running of the practice through the scheduling of appointments and treatment rooms,

-Ensure patients records are filed correctly and retrieved for all appointments,

-taking payments/processing Medicare claims

-managing referrals

-liaising with Doctors/Specialists

-cleaning & restocking offices

-general administration

-Protect Patients rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information,

-Maintains operations by following policies and procedure manual supported by AGPAL,

-Contributes to team efforts to provide the community of Lilydale and Chirnside with a reliable and quality service.

Start as soon as possible.

Remuneration is as per Health Professionals and Support Services Award [MA000027] and experience.

Only persons with current experience in a GP medical clinic need to apply.

Pay: $25.00 – $29.00 per hour
