About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About the Role
The Carer Engagement Officer will play an important role working to support the promotion of Carer Gateway within Barwon Health's catchment area. The role will involve developing and creating content, ensuring Carer Gateway brand integrity is maintained across communications and marketing within our catchment, and seeking opportunities to promote the initiative externally through local health, social and community networks.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Work closely with the Carer Support and Merri Health engagement teams to promote Carer Gateway across the Barwon South West region
- Engage with existing carers and stakeholders
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure the integrity of the Carer Gateway brand
- Seek out marketing opportunities across the region
