As a Warehouse Storeperson at Apex Display, you'll play a vital part in receiving and maintaining inventory, picking and packing Australian-made products, and ensuring every order is fulfilled accurately and on time. With every order being unique, the role calls for flexibility, clear communication, and a problem-solving mindset. As the business grows, you'll also contribute to improving and strengthening our systems and processes—working as part of a high-performing team that values initiative, communication, determination, and teamwork. Skills / characteristics you will need

• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving & team collaboration skills
• Pays close attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.
• Reliable mode of transport to and from work
• Familiarity with basic hand-tool use
• Familiarity with IT use, including ERP software, Microsoft Office
• Forklift license
• Manual driver's license preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly-line or production work preferred
• Confident with business software including Microsoft Office, ERP software, freight company websites etc.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Order Accuracy: Ensure 100% accuracy in picking and packing all orders to maintain Apex Display's reputation for exceptional service and reliable delivery.

• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate fanatical attention to detail by ensuring packaging is neat, labels are applied straight, and shelves are always clean and organised.

• Customer Commitment: Go the extra mile to uphold exceptional customer service standards and deliver a seamless experience from warehouse to delivery.

• Workflow Communication: Communicate and collaborate closely with the Operations and Order Fulfillment Manager to understand priorities, track order progress, and maintain smooth daily operations.

• Receiving & Dispatching: Safely and efficiently receive and dispatch goods, including loading and unloading trucks and containers to meet delivery schedules.

• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment—including forklifts, order pickers and pallet wrapping machines—to accurately pick, pack and store stock.

• Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment at all times, following health and safety procedures and company standards.

• Process Improvement: Actively contribute to improving warehouse systems, processes, and workflows to support operational efficiency and business growth.
