The Role

We're looking for a reliable, practical, and friendly person who enjoys variety in their work. This role combines handyman and gardening duties with the potential to step into support work for our NDIS participants.

You'll be helping keep properties safe, tidy, and functional while also having the opportunity to work directly with clients to enhance their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • General home maintenance and repairs (painting, basic carpentry, plastering minor fix-it tasks)
  • Lawn mowing, gardening, weeding, and yard upkeep
  • Assisting with small improvement projects and safety modifications
  • (Optional) Providing support to NDIS participants – community access, daily living assistance, and companionship
  • Working in alignment with NDIS Code of Conduct and our organisational values

About You

  • Experience in gardening, home maintenance, or similar trades
  • Friendly, approachable, and respectful communication style
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, and First Aid/CPR (if not already held)
  • Driver's licence and reliable vehicle essential
