The Data Scientist will leverage data-driven insights to guide business decisions, optimize performance, and foster innovation. This role suits an analytical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems, building predictive models, and transforming raw data into meaningful narratives that shape strategic direction across Australia.

Key Responsibilities


• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and insights


• Develop and implement machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions


• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions


• Build dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings effectively


• Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate business assumptions


• Work with data engineers to enhance data infrastructure and ensure data integrity


• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies in data science


• Present actionable insights and recommendations to leadership teams

Requirements


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field


• 2–5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role


• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)


• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch


• Strong understanding of statistical methods and predictive modeling


• Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences


• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous


• Knowledge of Australian business operations and data privacy regulations is beneficial
