About the Venue:

Martinez is our French-inspired terrace bar and dining room in Circular Quay - elegant, vibrant, and all about hospitality done right. Open Monday to Friday (Lunch & Dinner)... Weekends off

About the Role:

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team. As a vital member of our kitchen team, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation while supporting the smooth operation of our culinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld throughout the kitchen area
  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
  • Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times
  • Follow safety and hygiene regulations

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Prior experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role preferred but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
