Club Operations Manager (Permanent Part-Time)

Hannans Club, Kalgoorlie | 30+ hours per week

Are you a people-focused organiser with a flair for events and a passion for community? The Hannans Club—Kalgoorlie's iconic social and heritage venue—is seeking a dynamic and detail-driven Club Operations Manager to help lead us into our next chapter.

As a cornerstone of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Club, while helping us deliver memorable events and meaningful member experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Event Management: Plan and coordinate a diverse calendar of events—from race day Calcutta nights to community concerts and private functions.
  • Member Engagement: Be the friendly face and driving force behind member communications, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update our member database to ensure accurate records and seamless communication.
  • Reporting & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and assist with reporting to support efficient operations.
  • Staff Coordination: Lead rostering, support casual staff, and foster a positive, collaborative team culture.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in hospitality and events
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confidence with digital tools and systems (experience with member databases a plus)
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine love for community connection
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Must-Haves Or Can Obtain:

  • Approved Managers
  • WA Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • NPC (National Police Clearance)
