MPJS Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fishing Deckhand to join our Longline fishing vessel operating from Ulladulla, travelling along the NSW coastline.
About the Role:
- You'll play a key role in all aspects of the fishing operation, including:
- Watch keeping duties
- Setting and retrieval of hooks
- Processing, stowing, and unloading of catch
- Monitoring supplies (food, bait, fuel, fishing gear, etc.)
- General maintenance and cleaning tasks
What We're Looking For:
- Living in Australia with an easy reach to (Ulladulla, NSW)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the Longline fishery
- Hardworking, honest, and reliable attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours (dependent on weather conditions)
- Ability to work well within a small, professional crew
- Must be willing to participate in random drug testing
Salary: AUD $68,000 – $73,000 per year, depending on experience.
Location: Vessel based in Ulladulla, with travel along the NSW coast.
