Foreman / Leading Hand

Melbourne – Full-time, long-term opportunity

We're on the lookout for two experienced Foremen to join a growing construction company in Melbourne. This is a hands-on role – you'll be leading a team while still being on the tools, making sure projects run smoothly, safely, and on time.

What you'll be doing

• Working alongside your team, keeping productivity and quality high.
• Reading and interpreting plans, troubleshooting issues on site.
• Leading and mentoring workers, setting clear tasks, and maintaining a safe, productive site.
• Coordinating deliveries, inspections, and site setup.
• Enforcing OH&S standards and running toolbox talks.
• Communicating with site management and reporting daily progress.

What we're looking for

• Strong trade or construction background (carpentry/formwork ideal).
• Able to read and understand drawings/plans.
• Comfortable getting on the tools when needed.
• Leadership skills – you know how to get the best out of your crew.
• Specific basement experience is a bonus but not essential – training provided.
• Looking for a long-term career move (5+ years).
