Construction Estimator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, supporting tender submissions, and ensuring project cost control from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and pre-contract documentation

· Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents to identify cost drivers, risks, and compliance requirements

· Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors

· Conduct quantity take-offs, accurately calculate project costs, and analyze timelines

· Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, Surveyors, and clients to clarify project scope, pricing, and design details

· Assist in post-tender reviews, bid evaluations, and project handovers

· Work collaboratively in project planning and coordination, supporting scheduling and work programs with project managers, and team.

· Create, draft, revise, and maintain preliminary design concepts, detailed drawings, technical specifications, maps, charts, and plans

· Monitor construction progress and materials to ensure compliance with standards and specifications

· Collect and analyse site data using surveying instruments and photogrammetric tools, performing computations as needed for project planning
