We're offering opportunities at our two Educo Tutoring centers in Edmondson Park and Flemington, both just a 1-minute walk from both train station.

Educo Tutoring Edmondson Park Branch (A111/52 Soldiers Parade, Edmondson Park NSW 2174)

Educo Tutoring Flemington Branch (2 Henley Rd, Homebush West NSW 2140)

We're looking for tutors who can teach both Maths and English to students from Year 1 to Year 12. You can choose to work at one or both locations, giving you the flexibility to make a real impact where it matters most.

Positions Available:

1. Tutors (Maths, English, and all school subjects)

Hourly Rate: $26 to $40 per base hourly rate + performance based hourly bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meticulously design and prepare your weekly lesson plans, utilizing both your personal resources and our provided materials.
  • Deliver inspiring and effective tutoring sessions for students from Year 1 to Year 12.
  • Create tailored lesson plans that cater to individual student needs.
  • Monitor and report on student weekly and term progress, providing timely feedback.
  • Communicate openly with students and parents, building strong relationships.
  • Support centre management with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Maths or English (evidence of HSC ATAR exam results above 95 and outstanding achievements).
  • A proven track record of successfully passing the Selective School Entrance Exam in year 6 in Australia.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 20 weeks of continuous classes in alignment with school terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate students.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Advanced computer skills, especially in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
