About the Role:
Canberra Health Services Patient Support Services provides support for the patients of Canberra Hospital through a range of services, including Wardspersons, Hospital Assistants, Central Equipment and Courier Services, Wards Clerks and the Patient Liaison and Admission Team.
The Patient Support Services Training Coordinator will provide oversight, research and development of the education and training of support services positions, in collaboration with People & Culture. The role works closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders, including education providers, support services staff, and management teams to coordinate and monitor training programs within the competency frameworks.
The role has strong partnerships with a range of internal stakeholders, including education providers, the support services workforce, and the broader support services management team.
This role will manage effective onboarding and orientation processes for the patient support services workforce, inclusive of Wardspersons, Health Assistants, Ward Clerks and other Health Service Officers across CHS.
