You'll own the architecture of a brand-new AI product, shaping it with your ideas from day one. With full control over both front and back end, you'll build something that's truly yours, using the latest tools and best practices.

You'll work closely with the CTO in a tight-knit, tech-first team where your input will directly influence the product's direction. There's equity on the table too, giving you a real share in the success of what you build.

Hybrid working means you can split your time between home and the office, keeping collaboration face-to-face when it matters but giving you plenty of space to focus when you need it.

You'll be joining a product-led environment, working on greenfield projects that let you apply your skills without legacy constraints. This is a chance to push boundaries and work on something cutting-edge in the fintech space.

What you'll do

Help design and build a new AI-driven product line using Ruby on Rails and React. You'll contribute to full-stack development, from planning and design to coding, testing and deployment.

Writing clean, maintainable code and comprehensive tests will be part of your daily work, and you'll also review and provide feedback on teammates' code to help maintain high standards across the board.

Collaborating with senior engineers, you'll help shape the architecture and customer solutions, and working with the product team, you'll help scope features and provide technical insights.

Troubleshooting support tickets, bugs and performance issues will give you more hands-on experience, while also helping to guide the analysing, writing, building, and deployment of software and supporting documentation.

What you'll need

  • Experience with frontend frameworks like or React and backend with Ruby on Rails
  • Strong OOP fundamentals, design patterns and scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Solid PostgreSQL experience: schema design, efficient queries, indexing and performance tuning
  • Experience with AWS and Heroku
  • A track record of owning mid-sized features end-to-end
  • A passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies
  • Leadership potential: mentoring juniors, influencing decisions and stepping into more senior positions
