We're a busy, family-run workshop in Salisbury that takes pride in doing things right — honest work, quality repairs, and great service. At Misch's Mechanical, we look after everything from general servicing to diagnostics and major repairs on all makes and models.

We're looking for an experienced Mechanic / Second in Charge (2IC) to join our crew — someone who's great on the tools but also happy to lend a hand running the workshop and keeping things ticking along smoothly.

This role is roughly 70% hands-on mechanical work and 30% office and leadership duties. You'll be turning spanners most of the day but also helping with workflow, quoting, parts, and customer communication.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard
• Assisting with job scheduling and workshop coordination
• Ordering parts and managing stock levels
• Speaking with customers about quotes, repairs, and updates
• Supporting apprentices and helping maintain a positive team culture
• Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and running efficiently

• Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator who's great with both customers and team members
• Reliable, organised, and proactive — someone who can take initiative
• Current driver's licence
