Macs Engineering and Opposite Lock is a highly regarded light/medium engineering company and manufacturer and supplier of light vehicle and truck bodies, third party equipment, accessories and services to the mining, energy, infrastructure and Government sectors.

The Macs Engineering and Opposite Lock Fitting division is looking for  experienced  Accessories Fitters or Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our dynamic and cohesive team, where our focus is on quality.

The people we are looking for:

  • Prior experience with suspension upgrades, vehicle servicing and differential lockers.
  • Prior experience in general auto accessories fitting - bullbars, recovery winches, towbars, child restraints, ROPS and other 4X4 accessories.
  • Basic auto electrical knowledge
  • Must have problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Work as part of a team
  • Work within a fast paced environment
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Manual C class driver's licence
  • Forklift licence desirable
  • Ideally, you will be someone who always goes the extra mile, has a passion for what they do and above all prides themselves on their reliability

Key responsibilities  include but are not limited to;

  • Suspension upgrades
  • Vehicle servicing
  • Differential locker
