Join the Civmec TeamCivmec are currently seeking Experienced Boilermakers to join our Construction division working on a 2:1 DIDO roster.
This is a great opportunity to join our team and be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering both Civil and SMP packages on a long term project.
The RoleUtilise all hand tools and forming machines to perform required functionsPerform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG.Mark out steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standardsInterpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standardsFollow quality control systems and techniquesMaintain correct and accurate MARK numbers on steel componentsCut, notch, drill, ream, shape and form steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standardsHousekeepingPerform other general duties as required About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
Australian recognised Trade Certificate Current Working Safely at Heights CertificateCurrent High risk elevating work platform license and VOCCurrent Drivers LicenceNationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)Previous construction experienceAbility to attend and pass a 3G/4G Weld Test before mobilisationAbility to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
