Are you a Nursing professional ready to make a significant impact in Trauma Care? Nepean Hospital is looking for a passionate Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Trauma to join our multidisciplinary team and play a key role in improving patient outcomes across the continuum of trauma care.

This position will see you provide expert Clinical Leadership, Consultancy, Education and support to Nursing and Medical staff in the delivery of evidence-based trauma care. You'll be pivotal in driving clinical excellence in the management of trauma patients, leading trauma quality improvement initiatives, supporting staff development through education, training and mentorship and collaborating with trauma services, emergency, intensive care, surgical and ward-based teams.

What you will bring to the role:

• Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA with a minimum five (5) years postgraduate experience and a minimum of three (3) full time experience in Critical Care (current).
• Post graduate Qualifications in Critical Care nursing.
• Clear and demonstrated ability to form functional working partnerships with key service stakeholders, within a multidisciplinary context.
• Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, analysis, review, evaluation and redevelopment of service programs, policy, procedures and education strategies, within a multidisciplinary context, related to the speciality area.
• Clear ability to utilise Health Improvement principles in practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Demonstrated professional leadership qualities.
• Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
