Founded in 1999, Netwealth has grown rapidly, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit that encourages us to challenge the status quo. At Netwealth, our team is our greatest asset. We are a collective of passionate individuals dedicated to making life better for more Australians. Our values—Curious, Optimistic, Courageous, Collaborative, Agile, and Genuine—are the guiding principles that shape our decisions and define how we present ourselves to the world. Join us in our mission and become part of a team that not only envisions a better future but actively works to create it.
The opportunity
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Product Designer to join our growing Design practice, reporting directly to the Head of Design. This role will play a key part in shaping the future of our customer experience and service design initiatives.
As a Product Designer, you will work end-to-end across the design process, from discovery and research through to validation and delivery. You'll collaborate closely with product managers to define vision and strategy, and partner with engineering teams to bring ideas to life.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Lead and participate in customer research to uncover insights and inform design decisions.
Design customer journeys, workflows, and service touchpoints that deliver seamless experiences.
Translate research findings into concepts, prototypes, and UI designs that balance usability and business outcomes.
Work collaboratively with product managers and engineers to ensure alignment and execution.
Engage in full end-to-end design processes, from discovery to validation.
About you
Strong background in CX or Service Design, with experience designing processes and systems—not just screens.
Skilled in research methods (qualitative and quantitative) and synthesising insights into actionable design solutions.
Ability to design UI components and interactions that complement the overall experience.
Experience working in SaaS or digital product environments is highly desirable.
A portfolio that demonstrates impact, problem-solving, and measurable outcomes—not just visual design.
Please note: This is not a graphic design role. While visual craft is important, we're looking for someone who can design experiences and services that deliver real value to customers and the business.
Life At Netwealth
At Netwealth, our people are our greatest strength. We invest in our employees at every stage of life because when you're at your best, so are we.
We're committed to your growth, offering access to further education, diverse training opportunities, and strong support for career development. We're proud to be recognised as one of the top 5 companies in Australia for Career Development, endorsed by WORK180.

Our flexible hybrid working model encourages balance, with the expectation of 4 days in the office each fortnight. Our state-of-the-art Melbourne CBD office includes modern end-of-trip facilities and daily breakfast to support your commute and wellbeing.
We offer a range of benefits focused on health, wellbeing, and personal development, including:

Community impact: Paid volunteering and our Netwealth Impact Group
