Visual Merchandising Specialist
to help shape the next chapter of STRAND's customer experience in store.

Who You Are

You're a confident VM specialist with a sharp eye for detail, strong brand intuition and a passion for creating visual stories that inspire. You understand how to translate product, trends and big seasonal ideas into commercially strong in-store experiences that feel fresh, cohesive and customer-obsessed.

In this role, you'll execute category-led VM strategies, collaborate closely with creative, retail and planning teams, and bring our seasonal concepts to life across stores. We are looking for someone who is proactive, curious and full of ideas—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces change, and understands the impact a strong VM execution has on both customer experience and commercial results.

About the Role

As our
VM Specialist
, you will own the execution of visual merchandising strategies and category initiatives across your area. You'll support the development of our visual messaging systems, uphold our brand guidelines, and deliver monthly VM updates to ensure consistency across all stores.

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver category-specific brand guidelines that reflect our core principles and visual messaging systems.
  • Create and deliver VM training videos and how-to guides to support best-practice VM execution and ensure consistency across all store formats
  • Contribute to seasonal window concepts and front-of-store displays.
  • Partner with creative teams to source assets and product imagery that bring seasonal concepts to life.
  • Participate in seasonal walkthroughs with senior leaders to align on visual direction.
  • Assist in creating and refining presentation templates in line with brand standards.
  • Support Field VM and Retail Operations in identifying trade opportunities and executing category strategies in-store.

About You

You're a creative thinker with strong commercial instinct. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can juggle multiple projects at once, and love turning ideas into store experiences that drive results.

Skills we would love to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Marketing, or related field
  • 2–3 years' experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or a similar creative retail role
  • Proven experience delivering successful visual merchandising execution
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles and brand identity
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva (preferred)
  • AI experience advantageous but not essential
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong creative sensibility and an eye for detail in store presentation
  • Knowledge of retail trends, customer behaviour, and market dynamics
  • Experience working with planograms, signage, and display techniques
