Motel Management Couple for Madison Spa Motel

We are seeking a hands-on and motivated motel manager to manage our 40-room motel located in Moama, NSW (border town to Echuca, Vic)

Description of the position:

Organises and controls the operations of a hotel or motel to provide guest accommodation, meals and other services. Registration or licensing may be required.

Tasks Include:

• directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities
• supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance
• planning and supervising bar, restaurant, function and conference activities
• observing liquor, gaming, and other laws and regulations
• assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction
• overseeing accounting and purchasing activities
• ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• may provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportation

Skills or experience required for the position:

• At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
• Registration or licensing may be required.
• Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia and hold a valid Australian driver's licence
• Minimum 2-3 years of motel or hotel management experience, or equivalent hospitality management background
• Must be willing and able to live on-site in provided accommodation

We will provide full training and on-going support during the contract period. Experience is a bonus, willing to learn and hardworking is a must.
