About the Role

We're looking for a Part-Time or Casual Field Service Technician (Commercial Warewashing) based in the Wollongong / Illawarra region to join our growing team. Each workday starts in Thirroul (2515), where you'll collect your fully equipped service van before heading to jobs across South, West, and Central Sydney, with occasional visits to the North. This is a field-based role servicing, installing, and maintaining commercial dishwashers and glasswashers. It's a great opportunity for someone with a background in plumbing, electrical work, refrigeration, whitegoods repair, or air conditioning service to apply their skills in a new and rewarding niche.

What You'll Be Doing

• On-site diagnostics and repairs of commercial dishwashers and glasswashers
• Equipment installations, including minor plumbing and electrical connections
• Routine maintenance and preventative servicing
• Workshop support, including light machine refurbishment
• Delivering detergents and parts to customers and suppliers across Greater Sydney
• Logging completed jobs via mobile systems
• Maintaining your service van clean, stocked, and road-ready during work hours
• Occasional collection of parts from our workshop in Thornleigh or trusted suppliers across Greater Sydney

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year experience in plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, or appliance service
• Hands-on work with dishwashers, washing machines, air conditioning, or commercial kitchen appliances
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters)
• Valid Australian driver's licence (manual preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage your time efficiently
• Legal right to work in Australia

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Restricted Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect licence
• Ability to read electrical schematics or wiring diagrams
• Plumbing maintenance or light electrical background
• Experience with whitegoods, HVAC, or commercial kitchen service
