About the Role:

Reporting to the Lead Design Draftsperson, the successful candidate will provide drafting services for site projects at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation (Greenbushes, Site, Mine).

Responsibilities include:

• design of new and modified plant;
• prepare technical drawings and plans for new and existing plant;
• provide drafting expertise in the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of projects;
• maintain the drawing register;
• ensuring timely completion of all allocated jobs;
• locate drawings for maintenance and operating personnel; and
• reviewing vendor plant equipment and potential new installation drawings.

About the Candidate:

• The incumbent should have the following skills and/or experience:
• minimum 3 years relevant experience including experience in mining and mineral processing;
• understanding of WA Electrical Regs, relevant Australian standards and WA Mines Regs;
• experience working a number different projects including both LV and HV design, Substation Layouts, Electrical Distribution Systems and Single Line Diagrams;
• electrical instrumentation and process control design;
• advanced AutoCAD electrical drafting skills;
• excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide rapid and effective engineering support to management and trade staff;
• highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
• ability to work within teams and autonomously;
• excellent time management skills;
• high standard of presentation; and
• ability to determine and set priorities.
