More specifically, you will:
- Partner, coach, and drive behaviours to enable the business to be self-reliant in managing risk and compliance obligations, facilitating the delivery of better customer outcomes.
- Work directly on market surveillance, monitoring, QA, Financial Crime and Fraud related matters
- Proactively detect and anticipate responses to changes in the internal and external risk landscape that may impact the business risk profile, with an emphasis on Monitoring, Financial Crime and Fraud.
- Advise on opportunities to enhance the design and resiliency of business processes and compliance.
- Provide insightful business intelligence to accountable owners, governing forums, and committees, to create transparency of risk outcomes, with an emphasis on Monitoring, Financial Crime and Fraud.
- Leverage business expertise and insights to make recommendations to the business for prioritisation of investments, interventions, and enhancements to mitigate risk.
- Advise and enable senior stakeholders to manage their risk, compliance obligations and business operations within risk appetite, with an emphasis on Monitoring, Financial Crime and Fraud.
- Partner with the business to prepare responses to issues, near misses, and emerging risks or threats to resilience.
- Advocate for and advise the business on using appropriate tools, practices and frameworks to enable execution of risk reduction and proactive risk management, with an emphasis on Monitoring, Financial Crime and Fraud.
- Partner with the business to support the execution of the business strategy, including advising on strengths, vulnerabilities, and enhancements, with an emphasis on Monitoring, Financial Crime and Fraud.
- Partner with the business to coach and drive behaviours to enable self-reliant risk management and compliance obligations, with an emphasis on Monitoring, Financial Crime and Fraud.
- Work in an agile manner and across disciplines to facilitate rapid response to issues, near misses, and emerging risks or threats to resilience.
- Develop a proactive risk and control culture.
We want to hear from you if you have
- Strong understanding of the stockbroking industry with experience in monitoring, risk management, customer roles, or product management. Any Financial Crime and Fraud experience will be well regarded.
- An understanding of applying technology to support teams improve processes.
- Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Experience in developing or enhancing and executing a distribution strategy
- Proven ability to achieve targets.
- Ability to work autonomously and complete tasks.
- Have a positive, inclusive, and collaborative approach to work.
- Ability to go above and beyond to help CommSec customers and referral partners.
- Have the confidence to challenge and strive for continual improvement and growth.
- Be a relationship builder with the ability to initiate and drive conversations.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent networker and impeccable on personal presentation.
