We work with Residential, Commercial and Industrial customers providing a wide range of experience and training for an Electrical Apprentice.

As you enter the critical phase of your apprenticeship, we are excited to offer a position for a 3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team and continue your journey toward becoming a skilled and knowledgeable electrician.

Responsibilities:

As a 3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentice at Gold Coast Generators, you will have the chance to:

  • Work alongside experienced electricians on a range of projects, gaining valuable practical experience.

  • Carry out electrical tasks such as installation, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

  • Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system issues in generators.

  • Assist in conducting routine inspections and tests to ensure generators are in optimal working condition.

  • Gain hands-on experience in connecting, testing, and commissioning generator equipment.

  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics confidently.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

  • Continuously develop your skills in using electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Successful completion of 2nd year of electrical apprenticeship (minimum).

  • Proficiency in electrical concepts and practical skills gained during your apprenticeship.

  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in various electrical tasks.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Appropriate understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
