An exciting opportunity exists for a Mechanical Trades Assistant to join our Team. This role will be based at Port Botany.

  • Work with experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics in a friendly environment
  • Assist in servicing & repairing trucks & trailers
  • Workshop house-cleaning & organising spare parts
  • Growth opportunities within the business
  • Hours - 5am - 3pm with occasional Overtime
  • Full-time permanent
  • Competitive hourly rate + overtime and allowances, some weekends may be required
  • Work with a safe and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our own workshops

What you can bring to us:

  • Forklift license would be advantageous but NOT essential
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in their work
  • Mechanical Experience advantageous
  • Welding Experience advantageous
  • Electrical experience advantageous
  • Good communication skills
