Experienced Event Coordinator

FIVE is Melbourne's newest vineyard, located only 29km north from Melbourne CBD in the growing suburb Mernda. Surrounded by 30,000 vines, the venue at FIVE is designed by award winning architects and interior designers and hosts guests for large corporate and private events, to wine bar enthusiasts, as well as private dining experiences. FIVE has 5 dedicated spaces for patrons to enjoy including a 120 seats in The Wine Bar with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. FIVE is not only the largest tourism destination in the area but an absolute gem for the locals.

Working in a small team, we are seeking out an experienced event coordinator who is committed to excellence, growing with the team and delivering memorable guest experiences. This role will suit someone with previous experience in a similar role, eager to develop their skills. FIVE is team focused and the successful applicant will be a natural leader with the ability to work well in an ever changing environment.

This individual will have:

• A passion for growth and the FIVE brand.

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.

• Well-organised with the ability to manage your own workflow and timeline.

• Detail orientated.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

• Ability to problem solve.

• Available to work evenings and weekends.

Your role will be to coordinate an event from handover to event completion. These responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Support the Event Planner and effectively communicate with operations with regard to roster requirements, and food and beverage selection.

• Prepare event documentation where necessary, including menus and bar orders.

• Prepare for and lead pre-event briefing with Front of House staff.

• Supervise event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

• Liaising with suppliers regarding bump in and out.

• Prepare post-event report.
