About the role:

Performatec seeks a technician to support our Burnie TAS based team.

We are looking for a talented, mechanically minded, practical, and trainable candidate to join our team and develop into a CNC technician. They will desire to provide our clients with efficient and high-quality service, in line with our company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support

  • Software Support

  • Machine Installations

  • Product Development

  • Preventative & Routine maintenance

  • Operator Training

  • Test Cuts & Client Reports

  • Project Planning

About you:

To be successful in this position, you will be very organised, able to multitask, and have excellent time management. You will need to be able to pay attention to detail while working under pressure. When repairing and installing machines, you will be required to work autonomously to execute repairs and installations of machinery. You will be accountable for resolving customer problems and seeing installations through to completion.

Desirable skills and experience:
