Bakers Delight Edgeworth & Bakers Delight Cardiff are seeking multiple motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Bakers to join the Bakery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight as per BDH recipe; training will be provided for BDH recipe.
  • Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
  • Mixing, scaling and dividing dough as required.
  • kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
  • Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products.
  • Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings.
  • Maintaining a cleanliness of machines, tools and premises and abide by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors.
  • Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times, etc

To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria.

  • Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 4am)
  • Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff.
  • Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department
  • Applicants with Minimum of 1 years' experience and/or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have advantage for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
