Bairnsdale Christian College (BCC) is Prep-10 co-ed Christian school situated in Bairnsdale VIC. BCC is a vibrant community partnering with parents to educate, nurture & equip their children to the highest standard so they flourish wherever they are. • Child safety is a shared responsibility. Every person involved in our school has an important role in promoting child safety and wellbeing and promptly raising any issues or concerns about a child's safety.
• We are committed to regularly reviewing our child safe practices, and seeking input from our students, families, staff, and volunteers to inform our ongoing strategies.

Requirements

• Provide in-class support to students with diverse learning needs under the direction of teachers.
• Assist with implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and learning adjustments.
• Support students' social and emotional wellbeing within the classroom and playground settings.
• Prepare and adapt learning materials as directed.
• Contribute to the smooth running of classroom routines and general school activities.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote student success.

• A genuine commitment to supporting the learning and wellbeing of children and young people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Sensitivity, patience, and confidentiality in working with students with additional needs.
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
