About the role

We are seeking a skilled Boat Trailer/Caravan Mechanic/Repairer to join our team at R&M Marine in Lytton, QLD. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing our clients' boat trailers, and caravans.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of boat trailers, caravans, and related equipment
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on trailers and caravans
  • Assembly of new boat trailers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and advice to clients
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workshop operations
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work completed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience as a Boat Trailer/Caravan Mechanic or Repairer
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical skills in diagnosing and repairing a variety of trailer and caravan components
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
  • A valid driver's licence
