Kumon Education Centres offer students of all ages individualised study programmes in Maths and English. Our goal is to help students reach their full potential through the Kumon programme, developing lifelong skills such as self-learning, concentration, motivation and self-discipline.

Job Opportunities Available

We are currently seeking junior, casual, and part-time staff members to assist with the operations of our Kumon Education Centres. If you have strong maths or English skills and enjoy working with children, this could be the perfect role for you

Key Responsibilities

• Mark and record student worksheets accurately.
• Guide students to correct mistakes independently.
• Organise and return worksheets efficiently.
• Motivate and encourage students from kindergarten to high school to learn.
• Provide hints and assist students with maths and English classwork.
• Mark students' classwork and homework, record their progress.
• Other related responsibilities from time to time.
• Attractive hourly salary (based on award rate and age of applicant)

Ideal Candidates:

• Hold or are able to obtain a Working with Children Check.
• Are proficient in Maths and English.
• Possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Are fast learners, responsible and reliable.
• High school students or former Kumon students and/or completers are strongly encouraged to apply

Work Days and Hours:

• · Casual positions: Ideal for candidates looking to work on weekday afternoons, typically between 3,30pm – 6 pm.
• · Part-time positions: Ideal for candidates seeking consistent work hours on weekday afternoons for up to 20-25 hours weekly.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $32.00 per hour
