• Salary: WHA2 $1,084 - $1,095.10 per week (pro rata)
• Ongoing Part Time working 30.4 hours (0.8FTE) per week over a 7 day roster

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Join our General Services team at Mount Barker District Soldiers Memorial Hospital as a Services Assistant, where you will provide timely, efficient, and effective catering, laundry, and cleaning services to support high-quality patient care within the Emergency Department. This role operates across a seven-day roster and requires the ability to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts, with duties including food preparation and delivery, general housekeeping, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment within the ED.

• Undertake a range of vital support duties including food preparation, cleaning, laundry and stock handling to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following clear instructions while adhering to infection control and WHS standards.
• Provide respectful assistance to patients, clients, and staff, maintaining confidentiality and supporting culturally safe and inclusive care.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused workplace by participating in training, quality improvement, and helping identify opportunities for better service delivery.
• Enjoy variety in your work with a rotating shift roster covering mornings, afternoons, and nights, seven days a week
